Wigwam’s Fishing Report: June 1st

Good afternoon, fishermen!

It’s another rainy day here on Lake of the Woods, but that will never stop our hardcore fishermen! The weather is supposed to improve for the midweek.

Wigwam’s Fishing Report: The fishing report for Lake of the Woods was fantastic this weekend, with many buckets being filled. Up north near Knight’s reefs, in 18-29′, or any of the shallow reefs up there, the fishing was great. Gold, pink & gold, and orange jigs, tipped with a frozen shiner were doing the trick. Pulling cranks on the north side of Pine Island, in 6-15′, has been very good. 8-15′, jigging on the outside of the Gap has also been producing well.

We still have a few lodge rooms, a 7 man cabin, and a 6 man cabin open this weekend, so if you want to get in on some of this awesome fishing, give us a call! We have a GREAT band this weekend, “Big Joe Sandy” that you really need to come see, as well as some awesome food and drink specials!!
