Lake of the Woods Fishing Report | June 26, 2022

“Hard to soft bottom transitions have been producing for the jig bite in 28-33′ around Lake of the Woods the week of June 26.

Spinner bite has been heating up in 10-24′ on the South end in Morris Gap and Zipple Bay areas.

A lot of the Charters have been running North into the Angle looking for active biting fish. The better bite there has been in 8-16′ along Shore lines and on either side of Garden.

Flag Island area shallow flats have been holding lots of baits and good numbers of fish. West side of the lake has been producing a lot of bigger fish with pockets of quality eaters scattered.”
