Fishing Report 10-4-17
Fishing Report: October 4th, 2017:
The jig bite is ON down here on the south end. Schools are scattered along the south shore as the shiners continue to move. Dropping anchor with a jig tipped with a frozen or live shiner is best. Pink/gold/white combos are producing the best. North side of pine Island in 20′-24′. Four Mile Bay (right out in front of us here at Wigwam) has been active lately also. Lighthouse Gap and Morris Point Gap are producing schools from 25′-29′. Quantity of eaters, with a few little ones mixed in. Both sturgeon and northerns active lately. Several of both species hitting the 40″+ mark (and even some 60″+ Sturg).
October is filling up quickly. Give us a call today to set up your Fall Walleye Capital of the World vacation.
