We can’t say February is a slow fishing month. The pails have been full and customers are catching a ton of fish. Little ones are always around but the pails are filling up with great quality eater walleye and sauger. One house reported in with 5 slots one day.

Good afternoon fishermen!
It’s another gorgeous day here on Lake of the Woods!! High of 79 today, light breeze, the sun is shining, and the fish are biting! It doesn’t get any better than this!! Launch Special!! Fishing Report: The water temperature has gone up ten degrees in the last few days, so the fish are moving further out with the rising temps. Folks are doing well in 15-20 feet of water, using brightly colored jigs, anchored up. The Zippel Bay area has been having some success. Over near the Morris Gap in 6-14′, they were doing pretty well pulling cranks.
