Fishing Report 6-24

Greetings Fishermen!

Fishing has been pretty darn good! Head up to the west side of little oak, pull some spinners with leeches, minnows, or crawlers, in about 12-17′ of water. The west and east sides of Garden Island have been producing nice sauger and walleye as well, again with spinners and leeches, crawlers, or minnows in 12-26′ of water. The jig bite is on at the reefs of South Bridges and the 9 footer, in around 26′ of water. Tip your jigs with frozen shiners, and anything with gold has been working great!

This past weekend we hosted the North Star Summer Walleye Classic fishing tournament, and 22 teams fished it. The folks who braved the wind and the waves and made it up to Garden and Knights did very well and brought in some really high quality fish!

This weekend is a busy one for the Wigwam Resort! Weddings, bachelor parties, and an AWESOME band to rock our socks off! We will have some great food and drink specials, so head this way for an unforgettable weekend of fun and memories!

Give us a call to book your next fishing vacation!
