Fishing Report: 10-21

Greetings Fishermen!

We were greeted by a nice layer of snow this morning. We knew it was coming, it but it still took us by surprise. But do you know what this means!? ICE FISHING is just around the corner.

The fish were biting like crazy this weekend. I hear multiple reports of boats catching well over a hundred fish a day. The shiners are still running. The fish are biting in the river in the morning and the evening in 18-23′. Four Mile Bay is producing some nice eaters. The big Lake is doing well in 17-28′. You will have to weed through some smaller fish to get to your keepers, but you will have blast! Oh, and be sure to bring plenty of bait. One boat went through 10 bags of frozen shiners in one day. They are biting light. If you are searching for big fish, head up north to the NW corner of Knights/Bridges. There you can catch some slots, and possibly a trophy. Fishing will improve in the river as the water temp drops, and the fish continue to move in.

With ice fishing just around the corner, be sure to book your fishing packages soon, as they fill up fast! Don’t forget about our 10% midweek special! If you book your trip from Sunday-Thursday, you will get 10% off regular prices!
