Fishing Report: 9-16
Greetings fishermen!
Fall weather has started, and I don’t know about you, but I love this weather! Sweatshirts, jeans, bonfires, and of course AWESOME fall fishing!
The Minnesota Tournament Trail Championship was held here on Lake of the Woods this past weekend and there were some awesome numbers that came in despite the massive storm we had the night before the tournament. From what I gathered the fish were biting up north by Garden and around Starren Shoals. A lot of guys were pulling lead core with crank baits in about 30-33 feet of water. A lot of guys were jigging with frozen shiners, as well. Right out in front of the Gap in about 34 feet of water was producing a lot of of nice fish, again, anchored up and jigging.
Don’t forget about our awesome October launch special!! $450 will get you a full day of guided fishing, your fish cleaned and a fabulous time! (Our launches can fish up to 6 people, and for this special offer we are asking for a minimum of 4 people.)
Give us a call today to get in on the Fantastic Fall Fishing!
