Happy New Year! May it bring you many monster walleye and freezers full of fish (legal amounts of course…)!

Today’s fishing report isn’t amazing and the fish aren’t flying out of the holes, but a cold front came in and slowed the bite down a bit. Fish seem to be biting best in 28’+ of water, and on whole minnows.  I asked one of my guides what lures were working best and he said “Any glow colors, Macho Minnows, Pink Charmer, Scoobie Snack, and some new JR’s tackle lures”. He also said that there are quite a few suspended walleye, and a few tulipees mixed in.
