We went live on November 21st so if you are joining us for the first time, we welcome you, and if you have visited our former site in the past, welcome back. Many of the resorts on Lake of the Woods are gearing for the fast approaching winter ice season. Wigwam is right in there with the best of them. We are watching the weather each day in hopes that the temperature stays low and the wind calm. We are slated to have our first guests arrive on December 6th but how great would it be to have ice even before then? We hear from many of you through email or Facebook and there is a lot of excitement brewing.
Word is that many of the resorts are filling up fast so if you have been procrastinating, it is time to take out your calendar and zero in on some dates. Fishing on Lake of the Woods is one thing that you do not want to miss out on. Remember we just need 10 nights of below zero weather to make good safe ice so keep an eye out for updates on conditions.
We have some great weekend entertainment lined up for this winter with new bands that have not been with Wigwam before and also the return of some of your favorites. Keep an eye on the upcoming events schedule or check it out ahead of time to book your next stay when your favorite band is here.
The Meal Plan is back this year so when planning your winter getaway, order up full service all the way and just sit back and relax the entire time. Order it up along with your lodging and fishing package and leave everything else to the friendly Wigwam staff.
